This is my weekly update of AFL point scoring performance.

Scoring in Round 13

Geelong were the leading points scorers in Round 13. They scored 133 points against St Kilda. The margin of their victory was 96 points.
There were four closely contested games:

  • A 6 point win for the Western Bulldogs over Collingwood (106-98)
  • A 4 point win for Sydney over Port Adelaide (98-94)
  • A 3 point win for West coast over the Gold Coast (103-100)
  • A 1 point win for Melbourne over Essendon (78-77)

Melbourne overcame an end of Third Quarter deficit of 12 points to win their game.

Average Winning and Losing Profiles 2014

Round 13 saw the highest losing average score of the season, 82 points.
