Sometimes I am fascinated by numbers. It is New Year’s Day and I wondered about today’s YYMMDD binary character.
Although my knowledge of Australian history is very limited (despite arriving here in 2002), I discovered that “on the first day of the twentieth century, the six Australian states federated to form one nation, the first country of the century; and celebrations were universal.” That day would have been 010101
I wondered in passing what kind of #110yearsago discussion is occurring on Twitter!
We saw in New Year on the banks of the Mongarlowe River illuminated by a most wonderful blue moon. I did not have my camera but DaveBinM‘s photograph summarises the kind of moonlight perfectly.
I have been fascinated to explore the energy a new decade offers via my Twitter feeds and have been trying to link to some of this energy at a Grou.ps project over the last few days.
