Brisbane Heat's Four Wins in #BBL06

Introduction

Brisbane Heat have won four of the five games they have played in #BBL06.
Their fourth win came against Perth Scorchers in game 17.
Three of their four wins have come when batting second. Their only defeat (v Sydney Sixers) came whilst batting second.

Ironically, Brisbane Heat’s only defeat to date came at home against the Sydney Sixers. The game went to the final over with the Sixers winning with two balls remaining. The Sixers won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Median Profile

The Heat have had an impressive start to #BBL06. My data are collected as secondary data from ESPNcricinfo’s coverage of #BBL06. I am mindful that two of the Heat’s wins have come within their 20 overs (over 17 v Hurricanes and over 15 v Scorchers).
However … I am finding the Median run-scoring profile of winning teams helpful as I anticipate the result of each game live.

It will be fascinating to observe how other teams deal with the Heat’s performance profile. Their next game (#BBL06 game 23) is on 11 January at home against the Perth Scorchers.
