GPS: Gabba Partnership Skyline 1

The 2013-2014 Ashes Series started yesterday in Brisbane.
I have become particularly interested in batting partnerships as indicators of a team’s progress. This is the third Ashes Series I have monitored in this way.
The First Test in 2013-2014 gives me an opportunity for a new form of GPS measurement … the Gabba Partnership Skyline.
Australia batted first on Day 1 of the Gabba Test. This is the skyline profile of eight partnerships:

This profile seems to mirror bertknot’s picture of the Brisbane skyline from Wavell Heights earlier this year.

I wondered in the aspiration might be this skyline:

This picture has a crane working on a tall building that looks like the equivalent of a 200+ run partnership.
