Discussing the Australian Sport System

This blog post pulls together some ideas for a presentation about the Australian Sport System (Unit 7978) to University of Canberra first year Sport Studies students.
The topics of this presentation are the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and the National Sport Information Centre (NSIC).
For my presentation to the group (on 18 February) I am going to use Wallwisher.
A version of the of the Wall created with pdfmyurl is stored at Box.net.

Wallwisher enables the user to upload videos too. I had a look at Safeshare for the video upload.

  1. Hi Keith,
Australian based technology company Viocorp is broadcasting a series of live online forums throughout 2010 entitled the Viocorp Future Forums.
Considering your obvious passion for both technology and sport I thought that you might be interested in using Viocorp’s popular online broadcasting product, viostream, to tune into Viocorp’s ‘The Future of Sports Forum’ tomorrow.
If this is the case, you can tune into this one hour live moderated question and answer session, which takes place this Friday 12th March at 12 noon by registering here: http://www.viocorp.com/future_forum/164.html
The topics being discussed are Sports broadcasting, the Government’s role in supporting sport, Australia’s changing sporting interests, Sports revenue, advertising innovation and sports betting.
Questions are accepted from viewers if you’d like to contribute to the discussion.
If you like to know more, please let me know.
    Best regards,
    Annabelle
